As an artist, applying paint to canvas is the basic form of expression. I have a very abstract and contemporary approach to my canvas art pieces. Canvas paintings are a true gateway to memories and personal associations. They can last for hundreds of years and can immortalise people, places and ideas. (Mona Lisa, anyone?)

Single Abstract Portraits

A painted portrait of a loved one, deceased one or even a pet can immortalize their memory. Getting the likeness and facial expression/features is important and more trickier from a 2D photo. My portrait style is life-like with abstract backgrounds. I tend to use many shades of a single vagrant colour to paint faces, rather than real skin and hair tones. The Mansha’s portraits, one on the left, are a prime example of this. They can also make timeless and unique gift ideas. Hand painted family portraits are also available.

Private Commissions

Any individual or organisation can commission a totally bespoke piece of art. The subject is entirely your decision and can range from portraits, personal experiences, locations, landscapes or even religious references. I have a ‘big is better’ approach because large canvases have more of a visual appeal. We’re talking anything over one metre in height and width. Get in touch today and let’s create something.

Islamic Canvas Art

Arabic caligraphy is a sincere craft itself. The natural flow of the curves and their symmetry have an unmatched beauty. As part of my team, I have a very talented arabic caligrapher who has perfected his freestyle art since a very young age. Using the traditional ‘kalam’ tool with powdered ink, or more modern cut markers he is able to write with astonishing precision. Like me, this kid is a genius(!)
